Automatically ignoring celebrity artists

Post by JasperJones »

Hey,

I'm trying to target independent Hip-hop artists. When searching to follow, comment, like, etc, I filter out 8,000 + plays, has atleast 100 followers, up to 6,000, etc. The issue is it, it takes a very long time to go through the process as it ignores. Is there a way to get SCM to not even search for users with a lot of followers or is that the process it has to take?

Thanks

An update should have come out improving things

https://soundcloudmanager.com/updatetesting.html

but if you want to filter, then SCM has to pull the details for each result and this takes time.

Perhaps if you do a TRACK SEARCH
search: empty
GENRE: hiphop (also hip hop hip-hop will return different results)
date uploaded: last_day / maybe last week)

probably there are more independent hiphop artists uploading daily than established acts, so filtering on on < 6k followers shouldn't be too slow as should hit

errr I don't know what you are referring to.

I think you are referring to loading in a CSV variable (not file) so just

search1,search2,search3

or you can load from a .txt file, with each item on a separate line

search1
search2
search3

Hey Marin,

I totally thought csv was referring to an excel spreadsheet type of file. Also search feature with upload 1 week ago is working a lot faster and better.

Thanks
