99% of the time is bad proxy.

What proxies are you using?

socks5 proxies are not supported.

Martin,

I am also noticing a change since a while. I always use 'highly anon and post'. Getting plays goes really slow.
What do you suggest to do?

The problem is, the proxies are just publicly listed free proxies. You can find them (well the program finds them on your behalf) so can SC.

Soundcloud block most public proxies, the ones that would work, may be running at full capacity so you cannot connect, or someone just used it so the proxy is not temp blocked from working.

This is a problem of relying on free public proxies. Think of proxies like fuel and the bot is sports car. You are trying to win a race using free fuel you siphoned from puddles at the fuel / petrol / gasoline station. Sure you can get the car to move, but it won't win any races, same with public proxies, in addition you are fighting with people to suck the fuel from the puddles.

IF you want big numbers of plays quickly, you need to provide your own proxies, which means private (pay) proxies. In 2012 things were different, in 2020, this is the current state of play

Martin
