Priority Processes

Post by Wickedbeets545 »

Hey Martin!

I was running into a issue where one of my processes was just getting neglected in the processor, so it wouldn't go off as schedule. This got me thinking; would it be possible to set up a priority process system? Essentially it would just be toggle to give certain processes that lets the processor know that I want those specific processes to go exactly on schedule- prioritizing them over ones that technically scheduled first but have been in queue.

You can right click and select RUN NOW (or maybe RUN NEXT) and it will run them in the next available thread

For sure, but I mean a more permanent solution for processes that constantly run. Otherwise I'd have to manually hit Run Next every hour/whatever number of hours.

You run those accounts in a separate DB INSTANCE
FILE > NEW DB INSTANCE

For some info on custom db instances, check the thread

Hey man- the problem is the accounts have other actions that need to be run but I also want these to have priority. So they'd have to share a database.

ok, I have noted your feature request.

Remind me in a week or two, am really busy at the moment and new features are on the backburner for a bit

Hey man!

Just wanted to touch back with you and see if you've got more time to look into this feature.

Thanks!
