Freezing When Manually Generating Cookies

Did you get a black cmd window open then chrome appear?
If not, what happened?

The same thing happens on all browsers on all three machines, I login successfully, then when I go to press OK after logging into Soundcloud the program stops responding. I waited for about ten to fifteen minutes to be sure, since the box used to pop up saying "cookies generated and saved" or something similar. Now when I generate the cookies manually I believe it does it but the program crashes when saving them it seems.

sorry, I was misunderstanding. I thought you were saying the browsers would NOT show, you got errors. Not that the issue occurs after you complete the login and click the button to store cookies.

Now when I generate the cookies manually I believe it does it but the program crashes when saving them it seems.

Let me check again your logs and test again on your actual issue, my apologies

ok, I have managed to replicate the issue I think you are having. I shall run more tests and all being well get a fix for you later today

fixed. The issue was caused by using an outdated call to SC server to get the username / permalink from the cookies without already knowing them. This was failing and causing a lock on the GUI thread.


The next update will fix this. I shall let you know when it is ready.
