Why would this occur, possibly because it encountered the new yahoo page or is that caused by a bad proxy?

nothing was received from the server.
The browser asked for a page
and received nothing.
so probably proxy (usual cause)

If I may make a suggestion for the account creator. Could you implement the use of disposable email services such as spambog-com or 1secmail-com or anonmails-de
There are tons of free disposable mail services. If you want I can parse a few.

I'll note the suggestion but unlikely to be honest. They either are not working or will get blocked sooner rather than later. Getting the emails from them is a hassle and prone to change.
