Mass Follow: X follows per active account

Post by snibi » Sun Dec 01, 2019 4:44 pm

Hello Martin,

On "mass follow" module: When i create actions for several days, and there happens Bans/Failed Logins each day,

throughout the days it somehow recalculates and adds those to the alive accounts, giving overfollows.

at moment we put the number of all accounts * number followings in there.

If we could change the #Max Follow and #Fluctate at "mass follow" to account based, would be much better and much easier to handle.

As example at the unfollow there is also account based.

What do you think? I mean should be X follows per active account.

Many thanks in advance!

If you want to set a limit for your accounts, so they do not follow more than (n), regardless of actions you set.

SETTINGS tab:
Global Limits:
These apply to ALL accounts

ACCOUNT DETAILS form
Advanced section > limits
These are specific to the account and will OVERRIDE the global limits

Regards,
Martin

Thanks for the information, but i already have limited.

There is the problem oll accounts stopping at the exact same amount, which is a footprint, because there is no +-fluctate, and can ban all accounts.

So my thought was, the best option would be to make account based #max follow so we have +- #fluctate in there too.

Sorry I don't think I am understanding.

You want to have a fluctuate on what value?
The action max_follow property?
The daily / global limit follow property?
Something else?

No problem, i should have worded it better with detail.

Following scenario, i create a mass follow from list today for the next 14 days, each day a new list and entry in processor.

Code: Select all

04.12. Follow List1.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts.
05.12. Follow List2.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 490
06.12. Follow List3.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 480
07.12. Follow List4.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 470
08.12. Follow List5.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 460
09.12. Follow List6.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 450
10.12. Follow List7.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 440
11.12. Follow List8.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 430
12.12. Follow List9.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 420
13.12. Follow List10.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 410
14.12. Follow List11.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 400
15.12. Follow List12.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 390
16.12. Follow List13.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 380
17.12. Follow List14.txt,created the action with 500 accounts. Now lets assume each day +-10 bans of the already assigned accounts. 370
For the sake of simplicity i only calculated with 10 bans, but now because the actions are still made with 500 accounts, it recalculates the #max follow and adds them to the 370 alive accounts instead ditching them, so overfollowing happens.

The field #max follow require at moment the full number of "all accounts * follow number", which TJ will then again divide on the number of accounts and follow that number incl. fluctate.

Here is the thing, when accounts are now banned, it calculates wrong and add more follows to the alive accounts thus overfollowing and bans happening for the rest of the accounts.

The suggestion with Global Limit Follow, i have already in place. but because there is no fluctate, you will see another issue like

Code: Select all

Followed in 24h
99
99
99
99
99
99
99
99
99
99
99
which can also lead to bans.

The idea was, if we remove the "TJ will then again divide on the number of accounts" and just enter the number for each account would be a super fantastic change.

Not only is the handling easier, but we would also have no more overfollowing issue and also a fluctate, so no need to add fluctate to the global limits.

As example on unfollowing there is already account based number.

still not understanding this. You are talking about mass follow tab.
What number are you setting for NUM_MAX?
What is being divided.
Do you mean you want to specify a value, that will set the NUM_MAX to process that is a division of number of available (Working) accounts?

But next update will include LIMITS FLUCUATE.

Many thanks for the limits fluctate, i guess that should work also :)

about the post above, i will try to simplicity with pics :)

instead of global number for all accs
Image

would be easier a each account based number
Image

(it is already that way in the unfollow tab)

Many thanks again!

ahh you don't mean the MASS FOLLOW tab. Ok now I understand.

so if you have 10 accounts
set max follows = 100 (you want each account to perform 10, but if 5 accounts are banned, currently each account will perform 20)

what you actually want to set is (shared actions) max follows = 10, meaning each account performs 10.

Suggestion noted, but the functionality is deeply entwined at the moment and is going to be quite difficult. I will keep it mind and
