Can't Verify Account

Been using twitterdub fine for awhile.

Then one day it says I have to activate account,which I already did.
Don't know why it doesn't work.

I would re-install then it would work.
Next day, it is not working again, asking me to re-verify account.

The TLS finger print bypass routine does not have network connection.


What OS are you are?
VPS / Home machine?

Restart the app, if that doesn't fix it
Restart the machine.

Otherwise look at:

firewall
anti virus (windows defender)
Security app / smart screen / app browser control


Disable them all and try again, if it works, it was one of them and we can try and figure out which to whitelist the app

%appdata%\rootjazz\twitterdub\python\python.exe

This exe needs to be whitelisted as well as

c:\program files (x86)\twitterdub\twitter.exe

it updates sometimes with new heuristics which will misidentify the program and block it as it makes lots of HTTP requests (which is what some malware would do). Although the HTTP requests you want twitterdub to make, windows defender just blanket blocks

Ive got also the "waiting for TLS file" problem, restart of the app and pc wasnt succesful.

Did you go through the instructions / link above about checking your anti virus / security / firewall.


Something on your machine is blocking the network from the TLS browser.

Yes I did,

I disabled AntiVir and Windows Defender Firewall
I used the proxy manually and it works.
I disabled VPN too

without success.

It works on other accounts - just 2 are failing.

So I think its not proxy problem.

oh, if other accounts are working, it's not the app not having a network account. IT would imply the proxy is at fault

Either the app doesn't have network
Or the proxy isn't working.

There is nothing else it can be. The account just routes through the proxy (if exist) > machine network (which could be a VPN or not)

If the network is there, it works, if not, you get an error
0 / -1 / no resp / waiting for response / returned null
