TwitterDub Not Working

Hi,

for a few weeks now my Twitterdub is not working. I couldn't even add my account but with the latest updates I can finally add it, however I cant RT.
The log number is: logs_15251.
Version is: 3.6.1.6 and im not using proxies.

I cannot see any retweet action in your logs.

What machine are you using? Home machine or VPS / server?




Please perform:

1) Clear logs: HELP > LOGS > DELETE

2) Run the action that you are having an issue with.

Add a test action to search and retweet 1 tweet

3) If the issue happens again, submit logs:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

Im having a bit of a hard time trying to understand what you mean here.
Can you please explain it in another way?

You said you could not perform a RT action. So add an action to perform a RETWEET.

Only add this one action
Do not do anything else in the app whilst the test is running. Run the action, that is all. Submit logs if issue persists

that's the issue, the program doesn't have a network connection.

You are not using a proxy, so make sure your

firewall
anti virus
security software is not blocking

It seems like something on your machine is blocking the running of the program. Most often this is you Anti Virus / Security software. The two most common are:

* Windows Defender
* Smart screen / app security


Please let me know what operating system you are using and how you run the program: At home / on VPS / In VM?

Please check your anti virus / security software and make sure the applications program files folder:

c:\program files (x86)\twitterdub


is whitelisted and / or all the .exe and .dlls in that folder.

also the python TLS browser:
%appdata%\rootjazz\twitterdub\python\python.exe



is whitelisted and / or all the .exe and .dlls in that folder.


Or just disable all Anti virus / app security processes and try again, if it now works, that is the issue and you can try and find a less drastic solution to stop these processes blocking TD from the network
