newbie question about meta assign window

Post by Glassy »

Hi all,
I'm new and need to post some newbie questions.
In the assign meta window I don't understand how does it work. Do i have to write keywords on the right screen? do they replace all tokens in all sections (title, url, description etc...)?
I mean pls explain what to do clearly.

Hi,

Everyone was new once, so please do ask all and any questions you have. If you are unsure of something, I can assure you 10 others have had the same questions. And if I can answer your questions that will help others. That is why I like to have the support forum public to all :-)

So to answer you, yes, list all your keywords on the right, in a list, one per line

Then for your meta

Title
Description
etc

you use the tokens, which will random set your meta data.

So everytime you use a %kw% token, it will be replaced by a RANDOM keyword.

If you want to specify

So a title of: Sunsets %kw% %kw% %kw%

Means your titles will be

Sunsets RANDOM-KEYWORD-SELECTED-FROM-LIST RANDOM-KEYWORD-SELECTED-FROM-LIST RANDOM-KEYWORD-SELECTED-FROM-LIST

so you can force specific keywords into every title by including them in the meta boxes as well
