Scraper tab:Profile Engagement scoreboard

Post by martin@rootjazz »

Enter a profile URL to find out who are the biggest engagers with this account. A great way to find engaged users that may become engagers of your account.

The program will scrape the most recent # Posts of the profile you specify.

The likers and commenters for the image are scraped. If a user liked a media, a point is given. If a user commented on the media, a point is given. If the user liked+commented on the same media, an additional point is given.

Only Include:
Followers:
If checked, only those engagers who are also followers will be included in the results.

Followings:
If checked, only those engagers who are also followings will be included in the results.

Note, if both options checked, then all followers AND all followings included

Show 0 Results.
If checked, and you are only showing results of followers / followings then this option will include all followers / followings in the results even if they didn't engage with the media. This option will allow you to see which followers/followings do not engage with an account, and if this function used on your account, may help you find profiles to unfollow who are not engaging with your content. Please note, if this option is selected, then the 'Ignore Score Below' option is not applied.

Ignore Score Below
Any engager that doesn't score more than this value is not included in the results.

Results
Two files will be saved.
1) the engagement score as detailed above
2) The users which had liked+commented on medias - a score which only records if a media was liked+commented

Results files are saved to your HELP > SAVED DATA directory. The files will be a tab delimited CSV, so load into excel or another spreadsheet program to view the data and extract the IDs you want to action on

WARNING. Be aware of the scrapes required, if you request 100 recent images to be scraped and each image has 1000s of comments and likes, that is a lot of scrapes!

Let me know if you find it useful. I am of the thinking you are going to find lots of bots, but others said you will also find high engagers, which if you can find they consistently is super-useful.

a few updates.

Can now include followers and followings.

Can specify to show followers/followings with a 0 score (i.e. haven't engaged with the profile). This will allow you to target your account and find out which followings are not engaging with you and perhaps unfollow, or review if they are worth following. And which of your followers are not engaging and perhaps you can reach out to them

Very very nice. For big accounts it is difficult to find continuous engagers. I think now with this feature, it is possible. Just a question, if the posts gets 1000+ likes and the scrape is limited with 1000? , Does this affect analysis results? Also, how about fake accounts, or bots that are engaging, will be included as well? :)

Awesome functionality. Can we get the results with username vs the ID number? Like the other scape options (Search result type)

no not currently. IDs are used as less requests can be made to get results with IDs than other types.

For now, if you want those IDs to URLs or DETAILS, you would need to load the results path into the scrape tab > custom scrape: id / url

then the program will request the data for each ID

yes > 1000 likes will be effected, those will NOT be counted.

spam bots will rank well, if they like and comment on everything

Once you have the file, probably an idea to run a filter on it.

SCRAPE TAB
custom search:
ID / URL

input the file and apply the filter
