Can't watermark an image with a bar color

When i try to watermark an image with a bar color the image ends up not having that bar color, just text only...

Just tried again but bar color wasn't on the image.
When you tested did you select top left?

No, top left cannot be a colour bar. A colour bar is either TOP or BOTTOM.

A bar is added to the top / bottom of the image, then the text is added to the bar.

If you select
TOP-LEFT
TOP-RIGHT
BOTTOM-LEFT
BOTTOMT-RIGHT

then the watermark is just superimposted to that corner

Please confirm if the watermark is being added or the issue is you were expecting a bar behind the text, in which case I need to make it clearer how it works

Yes,the issue is i was expecting a bar behind the text

However, the bar should be behind the text though as the location of the bar would still be on TOP

For the time being, bars are only available on top and bottom options, the corners are just text super imposed on the image

no, bars *ONLY* exist for TOP or BOTTOM

The corners TOP LEFT , TOP RIGHT, BOTTOM LEFT, BOTTOM RIGHT options just write the text to that corner of the image
