Exceeded daily limits Error - Watch Folder

[RootCause]

I want to publish 1 image from a watch folder every three days.

I set up the options (Time Period 3 Days, Images per Ac 1, Unique uploads only Selected, Num of Threads 1) and ran the function. I got this message and no image was posted. Also, the program still says Processing (I can't delete or edit it) and it has posted when the next action will take place. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it?:

Sounds like an indexing / counter error. As 0 is the 1st item to be processed, then the check is thinking 1 is 1st item. I'll check and sort it.


To delete the actionm right click it and select cancel, then once it has stopped you can delete it

from looking at the logs more closely, it looks like a an upload action should have been created to upload the the first image. It is on the 2nd image that the counter is above the specified maximum

Did you not see a new upload action in the processor?

I don't understand.


The watch action create the upload images and then set itself to wait until tomorrow. So it is working.

Why did you delete the future actions it created?


Perhaps I have misunderstood what you meant. But I Thought you said it was not creating upload actions as specified, one per day?

I think you did misunderstand.

I created a watch folder action with Tumblingjazz.
The folder in question is filled with images.
I activated the action.
No image was posted to my Tumblr account.
The action continuously said processing.
The action created a new image publication action.

The problem is that the watch folder action didn't publish any images.

I don't know how to make it any clearer than that.

Ok, I think you are misunderstanding how the action works.

The watch folder action does NOT upload the images, it also never completes as it is always watching the specified folder.

When images are detected NEW ACTIONS are created, these are the actions that upload the images. So you need to have enough threads to handle this.

1 thread for the watch action to run continually
2nd thread to actually upload the images



Does that make sense / explain what might have been your "issue"?
