Techniques to reduce following count?

Post by PrismaPhonic »

Hi,

On my main account I'd like to reduce my following number. I think I was following too many people even before I started using SCM. My plan was to scrape the people my primary account is following and filter for people with less than 50 followers. I would then like to be able to remove any users from this list that were followed by SCM. Effectively I want to use SCM to help me unfollow people I followed that had low follower count before I started using SCM.

Any tips on this? I know I can scrape my following for users with less than 50 followers, but how can I ensure that list won't include people that have been followed by the bot?

So, I tried this. I set maximum followers in the artist filter to 49. I ran it on my own account and it found only one person that I'm following that fits the criteria. I looked and this user has EXACTLY 49 followers. I know for sure I am following quite a few people with less than 50 followers, so I'm not sure why it only came up with one person. It seems as though the artist filter is not working correctly

Please perform the following:

delete existing logs
HELP > LOGS > VIEW
delete all files in the folder that opens

Perform the action:
***
run the scrape again

***

PLEASE NOTE: Do not perform other actions at the same time. Only use one thread. Do not run any actions after this action.

Then submit logs:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

and let me know the LOGS ID (just the number part is sufficient)

it would appear soundcloud have limit followers of scrape, so you can no longer scrape more than 25 followers

if you login to your accout and view your followers, can you see more (as it is your account)

If so, the scrape tab will need to be updated to allow an account to perform a scrape
