Thread on Twitter

Post by Fahad »

Hi,

Is it possible to publish a thread using TD?

If not.. Can you please do it :)

I looked everywhere and there's only 3 ways to publish a thread on Twitter..

1- through twitter it self
2- using a website getchirrapp.com/
3- a service called tweepsmap

But they all fails to meet my needa which is bulk making a threads which tweets everyday.

I hope there is a solution you can make :)

Thanks in advance and in anyway this request would go. 💙

What is a thread?
How do you do it on the website?

It's a series of tweets connected together

So normally you tweet and they all spread out in your profile.. But what if you want anyone to see 10 tweets at one click and don't want him to get lost in your profile?

You send the main tweet then (Twitter original app or other apps tgat support this feature and website like tge ones I mentioned above) add other tweets to the original one so anyone open any tweet in this series of tweets will see all the series.

It's called thread on Twitter.

Twitter web support it and you can see a + sign when adding new tweet

Hey !

I'm looking to achieve the exact same thing as in this old post from 2020, and I'm wondering if by any chance there have been an update on this usecase?

Image

This is currently how it works.
You post something, use the "+" button in the bottom-right corner, and add new content one after the others.
The result is several posts connected to each others, as explained in the OP.

I have installed TD today after a looong period of inactivity, and didn't find a way to achieve this result. Maybe it's not even doable.
Is that so?

On top of this question, I'd also like to add images (or even better, gifs) to my threads, if possible. Can it be done?

Thanks!

No, I'm fairly sure it's not supported. I suppose it could be added through a token, somethin glike

Code: Select all

thread_post_1 ^^^ thread_post_2 ^^^ thread_post_3 ^^^....
I'm really busy at the moment with some ongoing issues that need to be fixed before can look at new features. But keep bumping this thread / ask for updates / remind / hassle me and I'll get it sorted at some point

Haha well I'll refrain myself from spamming, I'm a gentleman. I'll just stick to the hassle part :D
Jokes aside, best lucks with the issues.
As for this feature, it sure would be handy since "threaded" posts are trendy these days. I've been doing it manually so far and with good content (thanks GPT), it's nice in terms of reach + new followers.
Can't wait to see it live on TD, sooner or later!

Thanks!
