invalid argument: user data directory is already in use, please specify a unique value for --user-data-dir argument, or don't use --user-data-dir
I used browser automation and I received this message as error too.
Same reply:

Can you provide more details as to what actions you were running, this should not be possible. What other browser actions were you running? And as always, please submit logs

Please provide as much detail as possible.
How do you cause this
After opening the app what do you do?
Please describe each action created / run

and as above, submit logs
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

For future reference, please, read through this post and submit your issue accordingly. Not everything will be relevant to your issue, but have a read as it gives an idea of the information you can provide to help me help you as quickly as possible without delays in having to request additional information :)

Unfollow action WITHOUT browser: 'LibProcessing.ExActionCancelled'.
UNFOLLOW without browser, working fine here. I would need logs to know more.

The logging in, every action is going to cause a red flag

It shouldn't. After first login, the program stores your cookies and next time is automatically logged in.
If not, as above, I need logs and info / screenshots about what is happening.

As for me it is working perfectly, so without knowing what happens for you, I have no idea on how to look into it

There is some kind of permissions issues.

Ok researching it:

https://stackoverflow.com/a/37992070

I assume you're starting your chrome driver attaching your default profile.

It's not the problem of your chrome driver, It's because you are running another chrome instance while you are starting your selenium webdriver, so some of the files in the profile is locked so that your selenium webdriver can not move it.

I encountered the same problem and shut down all chrome instances before starting my selenium webdriver solved the problem.

Seems there is a chrome / chromedriver issue, meaning the browser component cannot be setup properly *IF* chrome is already running. I assume you use chrome as your main browser? Which explains why it works for me as I use firefox (which with the ublock origin addon makes the internet 100x better and as chrome is limiting what adblockers can do, for a true ad-free internet experience firefox is the only option).

Anyway, for now, make sure chrome is turned OFF (and all background processes are closed before trying to run this module. I Will research and see if anything can be done this side

Actually, I think that diagnosis is wrong.

It seems the browser *IS* built correctly, but fails to login as it cannot find the FORM, this causes an issue that the browser is still in memory but the program loses connection to it and tries to build another which it cannot as one is already running...

I will need to get some debugging into the login routine to figure this out for you

Martin
