Looks like it stopped working couple days ago. Did they update anything?
I can create short links @bitly manual but can't via TJ and OAuth.
I see empty space...

Code: Select all

<a href=>something</a>
logs please

HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

No response from bitly:
and
04:43:25: postdataresponse:Proxy: Proxy: 193.***.**.167:***
Exception: WebException
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
Which implies the proxy. Either bitly blocking proxy, or the proxy is having issues.

If you test with another account without proxy or with a different proxy is it the same issue?

by default the program users the proxy of the account, next update will allow you to add the file:

bitly_noproxy.txt

to your directory:
%appdata%\rootjazz\tumbling jazz\config\

and the base IP of the machine is used for bitly requests.

I'll let you know when this update ready

After checking logs I found that 1 out of maybe 20-30 accounts/proxies was able to crated bitly link.

After updating to force use of server IP I have same result.

I will test it tomorrow with other proxy provider.

Many thanks for the update, unfortunately it didnt work for me.
I have tried on server ip, & at home ip, both with same error code
Got link:
WARNING: failed to get link from bitly: Resp
-1

I have an idea, i think the best would be another file

bitly_proxy.txt

to your directory:
%appdata%\rootjazz\tumbling jazz\config\

where we could add rotating proxies.

I was able to generate short link with nodejs script, oauth token and my servers ip.

I was also able to generate the short link with my proxies and that script.
