Email scraping question

Post by rob4926 »

Hello, I scraped a bunch of profiles with the scrape tool, but when I put the file path containing these profiles in the task and hit scrape emails it says “there be no file there”. I’ve double checked and the file path is correct and there is a file path there. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Can you screenshot what you are doing.

I just checked the SCRAPE EMAILS (top textbox on scrape tab) and with a filepath it works.

If the filepath doesn't exist, that is the only way to get that message. Check you have no trailing " " (space). Also the filepath extention must be there

Correct:
c:\path\to\file.txt

Wrong:
c:\path\to\file

That’s perfect, thank you! I was missing the .txt part at the end
