I logged into one of the email addresses I used to make an account, and in the activity log it shows my home IP address connecting via pop3.
Won't this cause issues with email providers? Having my home IP connect via pop3 to dozens of email addresses?
Is SCM not able to use the specified account proxy when using pop3 to retrieve verification emails?
Also sorry about opening multiple threads, but they are for separate issues.
Let me know if you'd prefer it contained in one thread next time.

Re: Pop3 Exposes Home IP To Email Providers
correct
Potentially yes, but in practise no.Won't this cause issues with email providers? Having my home IP connect via pop3 to dozens of email addresses?
Proxies work with the HTTP protocol. Pop uses the POP protocol. They are different. HTTP proxies do NOT work for POP requests. Is SCM not able to use the specified account proxy when using pop3 to retrieve verification emails?
that's fine and the preferred one. One issue, one threadAlso sorry about opening multiple threads, but they are for separate issues.
