I've done something testing as SoundCloud manager isn't able to add plays to songs at the moment.

What I found out is that the plays processor doesn't work, manually playing a song on the website also doesn't increase the play counter when playing and refreshing the page. However, when I log into an account and play a song for at least 5 seconds the play does get added.

This may be an issue on the servers of SoundCloud or they decided that only account plays for at least 5 seconds or more will be counted in the future.

What are your thoughts about this? I also noticed that there are a lot of active threads on community (dot) soundcloud (dot) com about the plays. Personally, I hope that it's a server issue.
