Having the same issue.

SCM is telling me a Compulsory Update is required to run the program.
I've downloaded the latest version (3.228 29/08/2016) and it still doesn't allow me to use the program.

Can we get some feedback as to what is going on?

the captchas are being solved by a real person. Try and solve a captcha manually using a proxy. You will see multiple refreshes / multiple captchas being requested. Now try and do the above via RDP to a VPS it is even slower. Patience I've tested it a few times and have yet to have a successful log...

What kind of warning from SoundCloud? I've never seen this occur in real-time.

I've been seeing this A LOT lately in my activity logs:
